Nixta Taqueria

While Nixta’s original menu was clear and legible, it was missing the color and life that the rest of the restaurant has. I was asked to redesign it from top to bottom. While we wanted it to have more of that Nixta ‘vibe’, it was still very important for it be easy for their customers to read and understand, as many guests are first-timers and some of the food and ingredients may be unfamiliar. I pulled a typeface used in Stacy’s painted signage and found a secondary type to work with it. Colors were sourced from the table card illustrations I had created previously for Nixta.
